The Ujung Kulon Conservation Park consists of the Ujung Kulon Peninsula, the islands of Panaitan, Peucang, and Handeuleum as well as the areas surrounding Mount Honje and Mount Krakatau. The park is covered by a dense tropical forest, and is inhabited by many different species of animals, including the single horned Java Rhino. On Pulau Peucang there is a vacation resort and Pulau Handeuleum's marine garden is suitable for scuba. You can visit the Ujung Kulon Conservation Park either by motor vehicle and motor boat, by helicopter, or by ship. For full information, contact any West Java regional or municipal tourist office.
